Meet the Team

Ramiro Salgado (Director/Producer)

Ramiro Salgado is a Colombian director, producer, screenwriter and cinematographer. He graduated from La Sabana University with a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia. In 2013, Ramiro established his production company, Rolos Media Group with a presence in Bogota, Paris, and New York. Throughout his career, he has worked on an impressive array of feature films, short films, documentaries, and captivating TV
commercials. Ramiro moved to Melbourne at the end of 2022 and is ready to embark on his next exciting chapter in the world of film making.

Guy Cunningham (Writer/ Producer)

Guy Cunningham has worked in the entertainment industry as a successful voice actor, roller derby commentator and host of many public events for the last 12 years. He was a content producer for his own news media show for Channel31 and RMITV in Melbourne, ‘The Cutting Room’ Season 2. During the end of last year, he was also a host and comedian on the late night show ‘The Buckley Sessions’ on Channel 31. Recently appointed to the board of RMITV, Guy is an up-and-coming producer and comedic presenter with a broad range of performing abilities.

Ilya Malov (Editor)

Ilya Malov is a highly skilled professional film editor. His passion lies in creating emotionally engaging videos with a strong emphasis on storytelling. His skill set and deep knowledge of symbolism, music, and the craft of film making make him an expert in tailoring videos that resonate with audiences. He has worked with major brands such as Burger King, PepsiCo, Google, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Scania, and AliExpress, as well as prominent artists like Lindemann. While he was originally based in Moscow, Russia, he has recently relocated to Australia, where he aims to share his talent and skill with the local market.

Chris Carty (Sound design)

Chris Carty, our Sound & Audio specialist has been heavily involved in the Australian Music & Film industries for the last 25 years. From early beginnings doing Sound FX & Foley on such classics as ‘The Castle’ & ‘Neighbours’ to being a professional musician signed to Michael Gudinski’s Liberation Records & Mushroom Publishing. Chris has a keen ear for all things audio related but more so how both industries dance & work together. He currently has his own recording studio & over the last 5 years has worked extensively on recording bands, musicians & voice actors whilst building up his credentials in the field of sound design.

Joel Perrett (Graphic Design)

Joel is a Melbourne based 20 year veteran of multi-disciplinary art whose work covers graffiti art, graphic design, logo and poster design, laser art and many more. He has previous work with designing TV sets, creating personalised pieces and 3D designs. Working with a neurodiverse perspective, he also has a son with ASD and understands the need for greater understanding about mental health diversity in our culture and society.

Rhian Wilson Ruge is a writer, actor and producer. She is a graduate of the Master of Theatre (Writing) at the VCA and 16th Street Actors Studio. She has put up works at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and has been an ensemble comedy performer and writer at The Improv Conspiracy. Rhian is currently writing on ‘Flunk’, an online series with a large local and international following, and is developing her own disability-focused web-series supported by the City of Melbourne. Rhian is a queer artist with an invisible disability, ME/CFS, which has informed her storytelling and working practices to reflect and cater for the huge range of experiences among artists and the wider community.
